English how pearl button was kidnapped

 kia Ora bloggers today I have something to share.

So in English we are reading a short story called how pearl button was kidnapped.

We first do a pre reading question. 

then could research one topic.I chose fashion from the 1850-1920.

Here is what i found.

So in new Zealand we would have had the near 

same fashion that the Europeans had in the 1850-1920.

I find the fashion was a bit funny looking.

Then we read the text

the characters 

pearl button 

she wore a dress 

she had white teeth 

two Maori women 

dark skin 

green necklace 

little blue men/police 

little blue coats 

the story 

pearl swings on her gate 

she walks with two Maori women

they go to a house and eat fruit 

they go in a cart and go to a small area of houses

they go to a beach and pearl gets saved.

6. Raise confidence  around very carnivorous animals

Why does the narrator believe they are moving to wellington

His parents tell him?

On page 1 what big difference between waituhi and wellington does the narrator mention?

That it is a new place and and new people to meet 

On page 3 we find out that dad told uncle sam they were moving to wellington because they want to go to wellington

How does the narrator’s attitude towards moving change once they draw 

Near the city? He's worried people won't like them because they are new

Emerald city yellow brick road flying monkeys scarecrows tinman and cowardly lion are all  allusions to what famous book why do the author made this comparison

It is the wizard of oz.It is because it is like how the main character on her journey
