creative writing reflection

 kia Ora Bloggers Today I do my creative writing reflection.

So we had to do this last because it is a reflection.

I have learnt how to do a haiku by how to write them and do a couple of haiku's.

I enjoyed writing haiku's because i got to express myself when I would never do that.

I think I did great in English because I have never been great at English because of how things went and how we did things in any order we wanted.

Walking under the canopy of trees light reflected onto the rough gravel path with the hint of green from the leaves of the trees.Trees of apples juicy crunchy and sweet.Smells of flowers the tweeting of birds feeling the rough trunks of trees.A fallen tree in the road climbing over the wood it broke with a dry snap.The crunching of fallen autumn leaves.

social studies

Kia Ora bloggers Today I have something Interesting.

So in social studies we learnt about the slave trade triangle where Africans were taken from West Africa to America where they worked as slaves.We Then made a my map This is my map. 

Then we had to pick a song 

here it is 

They used spiritual song to uplift themselves so they could feel human from their horrible lifes 

Harriet  Tubman was a woman who helped slaves escape the underground railway were trails to help slaves escape.

I choose wade in the water wade in the water was a hidden message that was telling slaves to wade in the water to help escape dogs and the Americans could not find them.

they are still significant Today is to remind us of what happened in the days of the slaves.
